Staying Positive- :-)

Hi everyone.......Today I would like to talk about Staying Positive...

Staying Positive ? what does this actually mean, why do people so much stress about being positive in life. Is staying positive easy? does it really work?



From my own life experiences, I have understood a few things... There are times in life when you feel completely down and nothing feels right. I felt that all the bad things happens to only me. I felt I am very unlucky. May be you just lost your loved one, or a job, or lost a relationship. Believe me! it's completely ok to feel that way when you are down. It's normal, you are not alone in this.
Everybody feels this way when life take unexpected turns. Just take some time off. Nobody is expecting you get up on your feet the next day and laugh and talk normally.. Give time to heal yourself. Speak to your close friends, your parents, your family; they are the people who always want the best for you. If you are private person, jot down your thoughts in your notebook. This phase is very important! You need to forgive and let go. Yes! you need to forgive yourself. It's important because this is what will give you the strength to move on to the next phase.

Next phase is when you will start feeling little better once you come to terms with what has happened. You will understand the life needs to move on to something better, somewhere, where you will be and have every right to be happy. Start going out, make new friends, go out with your family, meet new people. Try a new hobby or create your own job :-) there are so many opportunities these days and its very easy to be an entrepreneur. Learn something new everyday.. Keep yourself busy.
 This  is what staying positive means I guess. Be happy and pick your self up so that you don't miss the beautiful things around you.

Here is something beautiful that I read everyday. I have it put up in my bedroom wall. You could also do the same.

3 steps for staying Positive:

 1. Understand that failure is an event, not a person. Yesterday ended last night; today is a new day and it's yours.
You were born to win, but to be a winner you must plan to win, prepare to win and then you can expect to win.

2. Start the day and end the day with positive input into your mind. Inspirational messages cause the brain to flood with dopamine and norepinephrine, the energizing neurotarnsmitters; with endorphins, the endurance neurotransmitters and with serotonin, the feel-good about-yourself neurotransmitter.
Begin and end the day by reading or doing something positive!

3. Remember: Success is a Process, not an event. Invest the time in building a positive attitude. It will pay off well in your skills as well as your career.
